Serenity

I met a bike messenger a few days ago. With my fancy reflective vest on, I biked al supermercado at midnight and post-purchase—of some water and whatnot—I requested a double bagging from my cashier. “Because I biked here.” “You need a Chrome Bag,” said the bike messenger, in line behind me. “I used one when I worked as a messenger a few years ago.” I recommended he watch this video. “Haha,” he said, “you do have to be on crack to be a bike messenger, sometimes.” Anyway, I’ve watched this maybe 50 times. It’s awesome. Watching these messengers weave around cars and cut off pedestrians is hypnotic.
