Literary Secrets

with one comment

Literary secrets are being shared at Return of the Reluctant.

So far I’ve posted three: (1) I used to collect STAR TREK books, (2) In third grade, I read the BABYSITTER’S CLUB books, (3) I own TWO Chuck Klosterman books, both autographed. Shameful. What are yours? Anyone?

  1. Literary secrets…

1.) I used to read Goosebumps in elementary and Jr. High. Collected them for a while, too.

2.) I’m a fan of really spotty storylines because I tend to make up far more interesting explanations and possible sub-plots than would ever exist within it (e.g. Mortal Kombat, most other video game storylines)

3.) When I was a kid, I used to read old books purely because they would actually kill off/maim/otherwise let unpleasant things happen to characters in my own age group, and not because I gave a crap about whether or not that family got their dead mama’s corpse into town.
